The Chalets Beauvoir are located at the heart of the Aravis massif, at an altitude of 1100 m. They overhang the valley, on a very calm and accessible location. Vehicle trafficis limited to the residents of the neighbourhood. 

1/ Services: In the center of the village of Saint Jean de Sixt, 2km distant, you have access to trades and services such as :  medical group, kinesitherapist, dentist, osthéopathe, money distributor, sports shops, supermarket, ironmongery, pub/restaurant, pharmacy, service station.... The supermarket can deliver orders according to your needs.

2/ Snow sports: Usually available until first of May. The slopes are located between 1100 m and 2600 m.

Alpine skiing in:

  • La Clusaz, at 4,5 km, for the most keen on sports.
  • Le Grand Bornand, at 4,5 km, a more family ski resort.
  • Saint Jean de Sixt, for the beginners.

Cross country skiing:

  • Les confins at 5 km.
  • Le Grand Bornand, at 4,5 km.
  • Beauregard, at 3 km.
  • Le plateau des Glières at 10 km.

3/ Skipass: You can buy your skipass directly in the stations.

4/ How to move:

  • Personal vehicle: There'are well organised car parks at bottom of ski slopes.
  • Shuttle in St Jean de Sixt: every 30 mn in St Jean de Sixt there's a shuttle bound for le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz.

Next to the shuttle departure you can leave your ski material in the shop St Jean Sport.
