About Chalet Beauvoir ...
Chalet Beauvoir is a great base for an unforgettable holiday in La Clusaz. Refurbished in a contemporary Savoyard style, the owners have anticipated your every need.
Airport transfers, local transport, babysitting, housekeeping, ski school and even a massage can be arranged, leaving you free to pamper yourself whilst making the most of your stunning surroundings. The heated outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi are available all year round, so you can just lie back and let your cares float away as you admire the mountains above you. To respect the quiet of the neighbourhod, please respect the opening times of the pool : 9h-18h in winter and 9h-19h in summer.
(Children Safety: the swimming pool is secured by an electric cover that opens only with a special key, and the hot tub is covered with a heavy cover that only two adults can remove.)
This chalet is suitable for guests with limited mobility, as there is a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, along with the kitchen, living room, dining room and access to the terrace and garden. However, wheelchair access is not available.

Sleeping 10 people (eight adults) in five bedrooms with four bathrooms, Chalet Beauvoir also has a large open plan living and dining area where you can get together in front of the log fire to watch a film, or just reflect on another great day.
Cooking is a pleasure in the well-equipped kitchen, but if you fancy a night off, you can book a chef to conjure up a special meal.
After a day out, revive aching limbs in the hammam or sauna, or if you’re still feeling energetic, there’s also a gym, with a rowing machine and spinning bike, and of course the swimming pool.
At night you'll enjoy catching up with friends around the fire or watching a movie. The sunny terrace is a great spot to read a book, and the kids will never be bored with a selection of games and toys to choose from. Chalet Beauvoir would also make a great Christmas ski chalet home from home.
About the area ...
Chalet Beauvoir is ideally placed for skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities. With its private drive cleared all winter from 8am, no doubt you'll be the first one to enjoy fresh snow on the pistes!
Visit the quiet ski nursery runs of St Jean de Sixt, or opt for Le Grand Bornand or La Clusaz, where slopes are flood-lit for night skiing - don’t miss the weekly torch-lit descent! There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers too, with 16 trails to choose from.
Non-skiers will find plenty to keep them occupied, with a private, heated outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi outside the door and open year-round, plus a public ice skating rink and cinema, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and horse-drawn sleigh rides. Thrill- seekers should head for the Bun-J-Ride in Saint-Jean-de-Sixt – a unique mixture of ski- jumping and bungee jumping that’s not for the faint-hearted!
In the summer, you’ll find it hard to tear yourself away from the fabulous heated all year round outdoor pool at the air-conditioned Chalet Beauvoir, but you’ll be well rewarded if you do, with plenty to do in the area.
There’s no shortage of walks, from mountain trails to hiking on the Glières plateau. Adrenalin junkies are well catered for with paragliding, canyoning, climbing, via ferrata, mountain-biking and white-water rafting just some of the activities on offer within a few miles of Saint-Jean-de-Sixt.
For a great day out, head to Annecy, where you can explore the antiques markets or enjoy waterside restaurants and a cruise across the lake.
Back at the chalet, the sunny south-facing terrace is the perfect place for a barbecue (plancha style), and kids of all ages will love to play table tennis, jump on the trampoline (with a safety net) and use the basketball hoop.

The barbecue is available from May to 15th September.
The pool has a chlorine filtration device. The pool and the outdoor spa will be available from June to September from 9am to 8pm, and the rest of the year from 9am to 7pm. If booking this property, you commit to close the pool and the spa outside of these times. You will be expected to respect the neighbourhood while using the outdoors facilities.

Chalet Beauvoir is a five-bedroom, four-bathroom chalet for 10 spread over two floors, and 200m2 of floor space.
There are lots of extra facilities at Chalet Beauvoir and the location of the chalet makes it a great base for travelling around the Aravis. La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand, Thônes, Manigod, the Plateau des Glières, Lake Annecy and Annecy itself are all within easy reach of the chalet by car.
The chalet is 1.5km away from St Jean de Sixt, guests will need a car.
There is something very special about swimming in a heated pool or relaxing in a warm bubbling jacuzzi surrounded by snow! Gorgeous summer planting and traditional geranium-filled window boxes frame a private, lush green space around the pool. Discrete lighting creates an entirely different ambience during the evenings.
Guests who prefer a more energetic stay can enjoy the trampoline, basketball hoop and table tennis around the other side of the chalet. With walks from the door, gorgeous views, a separate dining terrace with BBQ, and plenty of parking, the outdoor experience at Chalet Beauvoir caters for all.
Indoors, this beautiful chalet is well equipped, comfortable and spacious, with contemporary Savoyard-style decor. The spa area boasts an ever-ready sauna (the coals are hot all the time: just pour on some water), a hammam, a shower and an air-conditioned gym.
Coraline, the chalet manager, will be happy to organise all sorts of extra services for tenants, such as a home chef for an evening out, home massages, raclette/fondue delivery, shopping on arrival, babysitting, airport transfers, etc.

Nestled in the heart of the Aravis range, Chalet Beauvoir has been built in pure Savoyard tradition, facing south to make the most of the alpine sun. You'll enjoy its warm and welcoming atmosphere with your family, your friends, or even your colleagues if you visit for a team-building session!
The chalet has a capacity of 10 people (+1 baby), with the option of renting the cosy apartment for four, just a stone's throw away on the ground floor of my own chalet! (www.chaletbeauvoir.com)
I've tried to consider every single detail to make your stay memorable. I'm sure you'll love spending time around the fire, as well as the book collection, board games, international TV channels and WiFi.
All year long you can enjoy your own private heated outdoor swimming pool (28°C, safe electric cover) and exterior hot tub (8 people, 38°) Here you can let all your worries float away while watching snowflakes fall on the spectacular landscape.
And if that's not enough, there is also a spa area indoors, with a sauna, hammam, gym and massage room!
During the winter, the big field above the chalet turns into the perfect playground to sledge, ski, snowboard, and play in the snow. During the summer, apart from the pool and hot tub, you'll enjoy the trampoline, ping pong table, and a basketball hoop.
There is also a network of hiking trails starting from the chalet doorstep: you'll have no time to get bored! Only a five-minute drive away from the resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand, you'll love Chalet Beauvoir's quiet surroundings. It's no doubt the ideal place to relax and breathe some mountain fresh air away from your daily routine.
If you need to rent your ski, snowboard, or cross-country equipment, I recommend St Jean Sport ski shop, located in the village by the church.
It's open 7 days a week from 8am to 7pm.
